STAR 919 – THEME PARK TICKETS ENTRY MECHANICS

4. This competition is open to South African citizens only.
5. This activation/promotion/competition is open to the Public that are 18 years or older.
6. From 08h00 on 10 October until Friday 28 October 2022, Monday to Friday participants can activate their entries into this competition by listening to Star 919 and sending their name, sound and #GRCThrills to the Star 919 Whats App line 084 221 2919 when prompted to do so on air.
7. This competition/activation will be advertised on STAR 919 through live reads and recordings as well as social media pages prompting participants to enter the On Air competition.
8. One winner will be selected daily at randomfrom Monday to Friday during the promotional period on air, excluding Saturdays and Sundays to win 2 Theme park tickets, provide they used the #GRCThrills and recognised the sound.
9. Winners will be notified on air on the day of each competition and STAR 919 will notify Gold Reef City of the winner and their details via an encrypted password spreadsheet.
10. By virtue of participating the winner automatically gives consent for their details to be shared in order to win and receive the prize in line with POPIA.
11. Gold Reef City will issue a Prize letter for 2 Theme Park Tickets per winner during the promotional period from the list received.
12. A declaration of acknowledgment of the prize will be signed when the winner collects the prize from the Customer Service Desk at Gold Reef City.
13. All entries and details pertaining will be collected and stored by STAR 919 on a locked excel spreadsheet.
14. The competition and all entries will be managed by STAR 919 in line with POPIA.

GOLD REEF CITY / STAR 919 – KEY TO THE CITY ENTRY MECHANICS

This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
19. The Key to the City competition is open to all theme park visitors who have participated in the Sound of Gold Reef City powered by STAR 919 and purchased a Theme Park Ticket online (1 x General Access ticket) for any day that the Park is open between the promotional period, Monday 10 October to Sunday 30 October 2022, and provided a valid online ticket reference number within the promotional dates on the website entry form.
20. This competition/activation will be advertised on STAR 919 through live reads and recordings as well as social media pages prompting participants to enter the On Air competition
21. Complimentary and Staff tickets, as well as school bookings & rewards, and discounted tickets are excluded from this competition.
22. A maximum of 1 individual entry (ticket reference number) can be entered per person for the promotional period.
23. The competition commences on Monday 10 October 2022 at 08h00 and closes on Sunday 30 October 2022 at 10h00. Participants must activate their entry by clicking on the competition button and completing all the mandatory fields on the online entry form on the Gold Reef City Sound of the City Web offer page, within the specified times.
24. The Prize winner will be selected by way of a random draw on Sunday 30 October 2022 at 13h00 at Gold Reef City Theme Park Town Square by the Multimedia Manager under Surveillance coverage.
25. One winner will be selected from the combined entries collected. The valid entry drawn will be awarded the R10 000 Key to the City prize.
26. Should the winner be present at the draw, The Winner will be announced via the STAR 919 Outside Broadcast on air on the day of the draw live at Gold Reef City.
27. By virtue of participating and entering the online entry form the winner automatically gives consent for their details to be shared in order to win and receive the prize in line with POPIA. A link to POPIA was provided on the online entry forms with a tick box.
28. Should the winner not be present at the draw The Winner will be contacted telephonically and Gold Reef City shall take all reasonable steps to contact the winner via the contact details provided on the entry form to announce the winner on air on the day of the draw. In such circumstances whereby the winner is not contactable immediately, a redraw will take place to find a new winner.
29. Incomplete online entry forms will not be valid and in an instance whereby an incomplete entry form participant is selected, a re-draw will take place immediately.
30. Every participant in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
31. Winners are requested to acknowledge receipt of the notification within 48 hours of the notification.
32. Winners will have 15 days from the time of notification to collect their prize at the Customer Service desk at Gold Reef City Casino within operational hours, and must present an acceptable form of identification upon receiving his/her prize.
33. If the winner/s do not collect their prize within the above-mentioned 15 days – a new winner/s may be drawn and contacted.
34. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
35. The prize is for one individual winner and can only win once.
36. The prize excludes transport to and from Gold Reef City.
37. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device or online system used for the competition draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
38. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
39. Neither Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company (PTY) Limited, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their Directors, Officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death suffered by the prize winner or any of his/her invitees, as a result of the prize winner having taken up the prize. The prize winner hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company for any such loss, damage, injury or death.
40. Any person transgressing the rules of this competition will be disqualified.
41. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
