Gold Reef City raises much-needed funds for CANSA
Gold Reef City, SA’s most loved local entertainment spot, in association with CANSA and Icarus Media, hosted a Zumbathon® on Sunday, 13 October at the Jozi Urban Market. The aim of the event was to set a record for the most people participating in a Zumbathon® in South Africa and, more importantly, to raise much needed funds for CANSA. Both were achieved with flying colours!
The energetic 90-minute Shades of Pink Zumbathon® (powered by Group 1 Renault The Glen and Z-Dance Fitness SA) attracted a diverse group of 354 people from all walks of life and age groups. This enthusiastic group proudly raised R28 000 for CANSA. If you missed out on this worthy event, don’t stress – it is an annual event and will be happening again on Saturday, 10 October 2020. The record of 354 people will have to be broken – please help us to help CANSA!
The purpose of CANSA is to offer a unique, integrated service to the public and to all people affected by cancer.
