TOWER OF TERROR BURGER CHALLENGE – CAN YOU CONQUER IT?

 

Are you ready to take on the ultimate food challenge? The Tower of Terror Burger Challenge is on at Barney’s restaurant and the boldest eaters will make it to the top!

Think you’ve got what it takes? For just R195, take on a massive 1kg burger, stacked with:

Six rashers of crispy bacon

Eight slices of cheddar cheese

Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions

Served with crispy fries and your choice of a complimentary beer or two 300ml sodas.

The challenge:

Devour it all in under 15 minutes and secure your spot on the leaderboard.

The fastest finisher each month walks away with R5,000 CASH!

Participants with the 2nd and 3rd best times monthly will win 2 Theme Park tickets each.

Take it on solo or challenge your friends—but hurry, this epic showdown ends on 30 June 2025!

  1. Only persons above the age of 18 will be eligible for the Heineken Draught offer as part of the Tower of Terror Burger Challenge.
  2. This promotion is open to the General Public and proof of Identification maybe required when the challenge is requested with alcohol.
  3. Participants will have to purchase the offer at R195 per person to participate.
  4. Offer is valid from 01 April until 30 June 2025 – when the park is operational.
  5. The Challenge includes Two 500g pure beef patties = 1kg of ground beef, 6 rashers of bacon, 8 slices of cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion stacked in between a GIANT burger bun, served with fries and a complimentary Draught beer or 2 x 300ml Sodas for R195
  6. No sharing will be allowed.
  7. No bathroom breaks will be allowed.
  8. The timer will start when participants touch their food.
  9. A 15 minute time limit will be given and failure to complete the challenge will result in a disqualification.
  10. The monthly best time on the Leaderboard in April, May and June will be declared the winner of each month.
  11. R5, 000 cash will be awarded to each winner with the best time – which will be redeemable at the Cash Desk at Gold Reef City.
  12. Participants with the 2nd and 3rd best times monthly will win 2 Theme Park tickets each.
  13. Winners will be contacted and notified if they are a winner.
  14. Valid for sit in only, subject to seating and space.
  15. Participation in this activation acknowledges acceptance of all terms and conditions
  16. Subject to availability and Restaurant terms and conditions.
