What is Blackball?
Blackball pool, also known as English pool, English eight-ball or simply reds and yellows, is a pool game that originated in the UK and grew popular in Europe, Australia and South Africa.
The game is played with sixteen balls, a cue ball and fifteen usually unnumbered object balls on a pool table with six pockets.
Blackball is a standardized version of the English version of eight-ball.

Blackball South Africa is the recognised body for the sport of blackball in South Africa and a member of the IOC via a continental membership with the All-Africa Pool Association and the world body, Blackball International.
