The Mrs Universe South Africa pageant is in its 4th year.
It aims to empower married, divorced and widowed women and the pageant advocates against domestic violence and abuse.

The Top 9 finalists competing for the crown are:
Carike Figoli, Denne Henning, Janike Tait, Maryke Taylor, Petece Swart, Siphokazi Mpofu, Tumie Matshego, Veronika Pillay and Xoliso Mgwevu.
The winner will represent the country at the 46th Mrs Universe Pageant, which will be held in the Philippines later this year.
The Mrs Universe Pageant is the largest and most prestigious pageant for married & divorced women globally.
