The 91 participants who haven’t obtained a seat into the unit semi-finals will be allocated one entry ticket into the lucky draw on 26 September.

This will be a manual draw and tickets can be printed from 20h00 until 21h00 on the day of the draw.

There will be one winner who will receive an automatic entry into the unit semi-finals.

8 participants, consisting of the top 2 from each participating unit’s semi-finals will take part in the Grand Finale. At the end of the tournament, the qualifying participants will be allocated a share of over R1.5 million in cash prizes.

5. Rewards cardholders are not authorised to give their card to another individual to earn points on their behalf. In the event of this happening, the offender will be disqualified from this tournament and all promotions taking place within the same period in all Tsogosun properties.
6. No coaching of players or alliances will be permitted and failure to comply may lead to disqualification.
7. Tournament chips must be returned to the casino after each tournament game and cannot be transferred to other players.
8. A designated and demarcated operational Gaming Table will be utilized for the Gauteng Baccarat Tournament at Gold Reef City.
9. Live games will not be offered at the affected operational table during the Gauteng Baccarat Unit qualifying heats, Unit Semi Finals and Grand Finals at Gold Reef City. However, live games shall resume at these table when the promotional session is over.
10. Entries to the Gauteng Baccarat Tournament cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration
11. Proxies will be permitted only for the Unit Semi Finals and Grand Finale and the Participant and Nominee will have to complete a written Proxy form. The nominee who will represent the participant cannot be a co-participant in the respective stage of representation.
12. All qualifying players and or proxies must be present at least 15 min before the start of any qualifying heat, semi-final or the tournament final. Should the player or proxy not present themselves within this time they will forfeit their seats and the respective tournament game will continue without these players.
13. Prizes are not transferrable and winners must sign an acknowledge letter for receipt of Cash prizes.
14. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino cash desk within 15 days.
15. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
16. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
17. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.

QUALIFYING WEEKLY TOURNAMENT

21. The top 20 weekly Baccarat Points earners at Gold Reef City will be invited to participate in the property’s weekly qualifying Baccarat tournament. Dates and times of each individual property’s will be communicated to customers via various marketing channels.
22. The top 20 weekly qualifying participants i.e. the top 20 weekly Baccarat points earners at Gold Reef City will need to register for the Qualifying weekly tournaments.
23. The weekly unit heats will consist of 2 heats of 10 players each.
24. Participants will be allocated a seat numbers during the registration period, by means of a random draw of lanyards
25. Participants will be called to participate based on their seat number.
26. Once participants are seated for their respective heat, they will be issued with 20 x R1,000 tournament chips.
27. Participants will have to play a minimum of R1,000 per hand and there will not be a maximum limit.
28. Every participant must play every hand (if chip count allows).
29. If the participant has less than R1,000 chips remaining, the count will be allocated to their respective score.
30. Each heat will consist of 20 hands/coups in total.
31. A marker will move from the lowest numbered box, in ascending order, to the highest until all 20 hands are complete.
32. At start of the tournament, a marker will be placed at the lowest numbered box.
33. The marker indicates which player should bet first. When the game commences, this player will have 10 seconds to place a bet, after which the dealer moves clockwise to the next player.
34. Once a bet is placed, and the dealer moves to the next box, the previous bet cannot be altered or changed.
35. At the end of each coup/hand, the marker will move clockwise to the next box. Once the marker has been moved to the last box (highest number), it will return to the lowest number and start the rotation again.
36. Should a player be eliminated, and the respective box empty, the marker will move to the next occupied box.
37. A new pre-shuffled shoe will be introduced during the initial start of the qualifying heats. The board will be cleared prior to the start of every heat
38. 5 dummy hands/coups will be dealt during the start of every heat and no bets to be placed during this period and bets to resume on the 6th hand/coup
39. Once all bets are placed the dealer will draw with a “no squeeze game”, opening both player and bank cards
40. No handling of cards permitted
41. A chip count will be done prior to the start of every hand/coup by the Tournament Director or Representative from the Tables Department
42. Participant’s chips are to remain visible at all times.
43. No voiding of hands will be permitted.
44. No betting on ‘’Banker and Player” and no side bets (unit specific) on offer will be accepted
45. “Tie bet” will be permitted.
46. Per heat, only participants playing in the heat will be allowed into the playing area and no records of scores will be permitted.
47. No scores will be displayed with the final score to be revealed after the completion of the qualifying heats
48. Participants will not be allowed to share chips or make additional buy-ins.
49. No Side bets will be permitted.
50. Non-Commission rules will apply to the tournament
51. All disputes must be raised within the hand in play. No disputes will be considered after the hand in question.
52. Management decision is final.
53. Week 1 to Week 4, the top two winners of the weekly tournament will earn a seat into the Unit Semi Final, including weekly cash prizes
54. Week 5, the winner of the weekly tournament will earn a seat into the Unit Semi Final, including a weekly cash prize. All participants that played in the weekly tournament but failed to obtain a seat into the Unit Semi Final, will be allocated a ticket and a lucky draw will take place, with the winner being allocated a seat into the Unit Semi Final. These participants will be the 18 runners up from week 1 to 4 and the 19 runners up from week 5 per property.
55. At the end of every heat, participants and Tournament Director or representative from the Tables Management team will have to sign a score sheet acknowledging their scores.
56. In the event of a tie for positions to qualify for the final table, the tied players will play 3 hands individually and the participant with the highest chip count will then qualify to play at the UNIT SEMI FINAL tournament.
57. In the event that scores are still tied after the Tie Round, a card count out will be introduced to determine a winner. Each guest will receive one card each with the highest card to determine the winner. Baccarat face value for cards will apply.

WILD CARD LUCKY DRAWs
58. All participants that played in the weekly tournament qualifying heats but failed to obtain a seat into the Unit Semi Final, will be allocated a ticket and a lucky draw will take place, with the winner being allocated a seat into the Unit Semi Final. These participants will be the 18 runners up from week 1 to 4 and the 19 runners up from week 5.
59. This draw will include 91 participants in total who will each be allocated 1 (one) entry ticket in the lucky draw. In the case where patrons have had more than 1 (one) runner up position in the 5 week period, those patrons will be allocated 1 (one) draw ticket for each runner up position they had.
60. The draw dates and times will be as below;

61. Participants must register their entry/ies into the draw at the eHost to be eligible to win.
62. The winners at each unit will be selected by way of a traditional draw and tickets must be printed from 20h00 and entered into the draw bin provided.
63. The draws will be attendance draws.
64. The winner will be allocated a seat into the respective unit’s Semi Final.
65. Draw times and dates; will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
66. All Participants are required to be present at the draw on the respective date/time to be eligible for their Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Service Desk. Prescribed proxy forms will be available for this purpose from 08h00 on the draw day until 15 minutes prior to the start of each draw.
67. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino and any other details as required.
68. Authorized representatives shall not be entitled to the prize and shall not take receipt of prize accruing to the Participants they represent.
69. Should the prize winner or authorized representative for the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
70. The casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner that does not attend the draws, via the contact details available on the database.
71. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
72. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
UNIT SEMI FINALS
73. Week 1 to Week 4, the top two winners from week 1 to 4 of the respective units qualifying weekly tournament will earn a guaranteed seat into the Unit Semi Final, including weekly cash prizes.
74. The winner of Week 5 of the qualifying unit weekly tournament and the wild card draw winner will earn a seat into the Unit Semi Final, including a weekly cash prize.
75. At the Unit Semifinals – Finalist’s names will be drawn randomly which will determine their seat selection for the Finals.
76. Proxies will be permitted in the Unit Semi Final tournament
77. The number of heats will be decided on the day of the Unit Semi-finals and the participants will be informed on the day.
78. Once participants are seated for their respective heat, they will be issued with 20 x R1,000 tournament chips.
79. Participants will have to play a minimum of R1,000 per hand and there will not be a maximum limit.
80. Every participant must play every hand (if chip count allows).
81. If the participant has less than R1,000 chips remaining, the count will be allocated to their respective score.

110. In the event that scores are still tied after the Tie Round, a card count out will be introduced to determine a winner. Each guest will receive one card each with the highest card to determine the winner. Baccarat face value for cards will apply.

GRAND FINALE

111. After the completion of the Unit Semi Final Tournaments, the top 2 positions from the respective units will qualify to participate in the Grand Finale
112. A total of 8 participants will qualify for the Grand Final table
113. Proxies will be permitted for the Grand Finale
114. Finalist’s names will be drawn randomly which will determine their seat selection for the Grand Final.
115. Once participants are seated for their respective heat, they will be issued with 40 x R1,000 tournament chips.
116. Participants will have to play a minimum of R1,000 per hand and there will not be a maximum limit.
117. Every participant must play every hand (if chip count allows).
118. If the participant has less than R1,000 chips remaining, the count will be allocated to their respective score.
119. Each heat will consist of 16 hands/coups in total.
120. A marker will move from the lowest numbered box, in ascending order, to the highest until all 16 hands are complete.
121. At start of the tournament, a marker will be placed at the lowest numbered box.
122. The marker indicates which player should bet first. When the game commences, this player will have 10 seconds to place a bet, after which the dealer moves clockwise to the next player.
123. Once a bet is placed, and the dealer moves to the next box, the previous bet cannot be altered or changed.
