- No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
- Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
- This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
- The Bonus Jackpots sessions with Ripple Effect is exclusive to Gold Reef City Rewards card members (The Participant)
Saturday Cash Bonus Jackpots – All Tiers
- The Bonus Jackpot Activations are open only to Gold Reef City rewards cardholders who are actively playing with their Gold Reef City rewards card during the Bonus Jackpot sessions.
- The Bonus Jackpot sessions will take place on 03, 10, 17 & 24 February and 02, 09, 16, 23 & 30 March 2024 during the following times:
- 16h00 to 17h00
- 18h00 to 19h00
- 20h00 to 21h00
- Guests can enter the Bonus Jackpot sessions by playing on any Slot machine or Table’s game on the Main Casino floor or at Barneys Casino Floor on the Activation days during the Activation times – The Salon Prive is excluded from this activation.
- Gold Reef City Cardholders with an average spend of R100 or more over a 12 month period will be eligible to participate in this promotion and will be included on the include list
- Participants who have met the qualifying criteria must be actively playing at a Slot machine or Table game during the Bonusing Session on order for the RAPS application to identify the player as a Bonusing Qualifier. A winner is selected from the pool of Bonusing Qualifiers. This process is repeated for each selection.
- The Saturday Bonus Jackpots will award 20 random winners per session and a total of 60 random winners per day.
- Each of the 60 winners will choose an unmarked card which will reveal prize values ranging from R1,000 to R6,000 in Cash.
- An additional R20,000 in The Ripple Effect cash rewards will be shared by 100 active players per day, rewarding each player with R200.
- Certain Slot Machines are excluded from Bonusing which is clearly marked.
- If a participant plays with a Rewards card that does not belong to him/her, he/she will forfeit his/her prize and a re-draw will be done.
- Guests who may have left the tables or slots before the promotions team get to them, will unfortunately forfeit their prize and the prize will go back into the Bonusing pool of prizes.
- Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
- Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
- Prize winners and proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and must produce positive and acceptable form of identification.
- A register will be available at the Customer Services Desk on the day of the period of the Bonus Jackpot sessions before each session starts, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for the sessions on the day or when the prize winners are announced on that day.
- Authorized representatives shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
- Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won. The casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available.
- Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
- In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
- Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
- The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
